摘要: The effect of atmospheric distortion an optical wave front on the performance heterodyne detection system is examined theoretically. With measured by phase and log-amplitude structure functions, exact expression derived relating to detector signal-to-noise ratio. It shown that because there a limit achievable ratio no matter bow large collection aperture is. minimum diameter which will (nearly) achieve this limit, called efficiency saturation dimension r 0 , obtained in terms fractions. Using current theory for propagation turbulent medium, receiver atmosphere looking at source above atmosphere. wavelength, altitude, zenith angle line-of-sight.
