摘要: While hospitalized in neonatal units, preterm infants undergo various manipulations and procedures that have negative health consequences. The aim of this study was to describe the are subjected over a 24-hour period intensive care unit (NICU). An observational, descriptive, exploratory conducted with 20 who were filmed continuously NICU from September 2008 March 2009. Preterm an average 768 1341 procedures. duration 2 hours 26 minutes. Each manipulation included 2.2 procedures, most occurring during morning shift. Individual accounted for 65.6% all manipulations, lasted less than minute. results show underwent excessive number evaluated.
