摘要: Summary The anodic behaviour of single crystal silver electrodes in concentrated hydrochloric acid solutions was examined by the faradaic impedance method. results show that dissolution as soluble chloro-complex AgCl43− occurs 11.52 M HCl at a rate too fast to measure. In less mixture and other polychloro complexes AgCl32− AgCl2− are formed ratio their individual thermodynamic stabilities. Potentiostatic pulse confirm these conclusions. No adsorption Cl− detected potentials prior phase formation. AgCl formation took place progressive nucleation growth three-dimensional centres it is likely diffusion determining step into growing edge. Large changes real surface area were observed after reduction nuclei.
