摘要: Serum bone Gamma-carboxyglutamic acid (bone-gla) protein (BGP), a marker of formation, was measured in serial blood samples drawn from 14 patients who had fractured at least one their tibial or femoral diaphyses and two other sustained major trauma without fracture but been immobilized. A total 85 were taken analyzed during the first three months after fractures occurred. BGP significantly increased positively correlated with time that elapsed fracture, an average twofold increase months. The site duration immobilization no influence on serum levels. levels non-fractured cases weeks subsequent consistent trend. These data suggest increases to possibly as manifestation repair. Further studies are required determine potential clinical value management such patients.
