摘要: The use of epidural injections has become a common procedure for the treatment spinal diseases causing pain. In some settings, such as that acute lumbar radiculitis, uses these techniques have substantial benefits. other clinical scenarios, chronic axial pain, utility procedures is debatable. Epidural steroids are an option in broad algorithm pain treatment, but they more conservative than many permanent techniques.1, 2, 3 This chapter will review proper with focus on patient selection, technical aspects procedure, risk and complication management, outcomes.
