摘要: Lung specimens were obtained from 9 patients with shock lung (adult respiratory distress syndrome), immediately after death, and 8 controls. They analysed for phospholipid content anf fatty acid composition of sphingomyelin lecithin. We found an elevated in the affected lungs but a decreased dipalmitoyllecithin fraction total lecithin as indicated by 127% oleic As consequence relation between palmitic moiety shifted 2.32 normal to 1.64 diseased lungs. Since is closely related function surfactant system we conclude, that alteration function, observed adult syndrome may be at least part result altered metabolism, cannot rule out, findings represent epiphenomenon lung.
