摘要: In the event of a foot-and-mouth (FMD) outbreak in densely populated livestock area within European Community, emergency vaccination will most likely be employed. The objective present study was to support FMD control policy by evaluating between test variability accepted method for assessing potency, major determinant vaccine choice, batch. system suffers from low vivo repeatability and reproducibility (67.6 58.8%, respectively). Consequently, results 10 identical, individual potency tests using virus O1 Manisa batch indicate that obtained with an overall 50% protective dose (PD50) value 9.99 may vary 4.59 24.25 PD50.
