摘要: In this article, we describe the Mid-Infrared Imager Module (MIRIM), which provides broadband imaging in 5-27 mu m wavelength range for James Webb Space Telescope. The imager has a 0 ''.11 pixel scale and total unobstructed view of 74 '' x 113 remainder its nominal field is occupied by coronagraphs low-resolution spectrometer. We present instrument optical mechanical design. show that test data, as measured during campaigns undertaken at CEA-Saclay, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, NASA Goddard Flight Center, indicate complies with design requirements goals. also discuss operational (multiple dithers exposures) needed optimal scientific utilization MIRIM.
