摘要: The inflammatory state after burn injury is characterized by an increase in capillary permeability that results protein and fluid leakage into the interstitial space, increasing resuscitative requirements. Although mechanisms underlying increased are complex, damage from reactive oxygen species plays a major role has been successfully attenuated with antioxidant therapy several disease processes. However, utility of antioxidants treatment remains unclear. Vitamin C promising candidate examined resuscitation studies shows efficacy reducing requirements acute phase injury.
