摘要: Pharmacogenomics is considered to be the low-hanging fruit in tree of genomic medicine with numerous examples its successful implementation clinic. In this perspective, we provide details about potential clinical application pharmacogenomics African populations by using relevant drug cases and high-throughput genomics approaches; involving countries stakeholders; most importantly exploiting existing knowledge respective large-scale initiatives. We emphasize on necessity constructing appropriate frameworks for government policies countries. also input different initiatives field Africa, not only their synergy collaboration among them, but as models replication other regions worldwide, aiming healthcare improvement.
