摘要: Purely thermal heat pumps can be devised with adsorbate/solid adsorbent pairs, for example refrigeration purposes. As each cycle consists of two periods, i.e., heating/desorption/condensation and cooling/adsorption/evaporation, this mode operation is well-suited to solar energy. After experiments the Zeolite/Water pair, a solar-powered ice maker was designed Activated Carbon/Methanol prototype built in Orsay. The collectors (6 m/sup 2/) contain, on whole, 130 kg A.C., condensers are air-cooled, evaporator has net production 30-35 per sunny day. easily removed, principle machine could automatically operated. C.O.P. 0.12, which makes one most efficient makers.
