摘要: Objectives: Identify strong predictors of smoke consumption by teenagers high school Santiago Cali. Materials and methods: Cross-sectional study with a sample 286 adolescents enrolled assets from 6 to 9 degree in year 2005. From the prevalence was estimated differences independent variables Ji2 P values. The predictive factors were established logistic model not conditional upon assessment confusion colineality. Results: 40,5% [CI: 34,8-46,4]. In all three models, friends had an OR 2,31, 95%[CI: 1,06-5,04]; smoking if friend is what gives 7,45, 95% [CI 3,9-14,0] exposure cigarette explain 2,18 [CI:1,23-3,87]; Hosmer Lemeshow Test =10,60 Value =0,2253. Conclusions: this group just as possible tobacco, although there some parents statistically significant, it for outside home. There no associations alcohol or psychoactive substances.
