Functional properties of ZnO films prepared by thermal oxidation of metallic films

摘要: We have prepared ZnO films by thermal oxidation of Zn metallic and analyzed their structure, morphology, wettability, gas sensing properties. Films structure surface morphology were derived from X-ray diffraction atomic force microscopy data. XRD analysis indicates that obtained posses a crystalline structure. An increase the roughness was observed, once time increases. Surface wettability investigations showed under UV-illumination, present reversible switching between hydrophobic hydrophilic states. The response to methane, acetone, formaldehyde investigated, experimental results indicate tested are selective methane. Also, found increase, as This behavior attributed structural changes (crystallite sizes, roughness), which take place during process.
