摘要: Histology offers a powerful tool in the study of reproductive health fishes. It is routinely used for sex verification, identifying stage development, documenting presence intersex, tumors, parasites and other abnormalities quantifying atresia. can also be more subtle changes such as thickness vitelline envelope at various stages, yolk appearance, necrosis sperm, Sertoli cell proliferation. Gonadal histology, conjunction with hormone vitellogenin measurements, morphological fecundity studies, provide insights into effects environmental stressors on health. However, much research, both field laboratory, needed to understand cause effect observed meaning many histological observations made terms success fish populations.
