摘要: Controlled melting of mould powder on top the meniscus is essential for efficient flux performance. This paper presents two complementary methods to determine speed a powder. One method measures displacement prepressed cylinder at fixed temperature. yields qualitative, but reproducible, results which can be related composition. In second method, sample melted steel bath. The data are interpreted with help an improved theoretical model, resulting in quantitative values and thickness molten layer. both agree well measured plant data.
