摘要: A series of maps were produced that together form a type atlas the Nokia Mobile Data Challenge (MDC). Like in traditional geographic atlas, limited number base map configurations is generated, onto which various thematic elements are then overlaid. Two those themselves derived from MDC data; third referenced space. Thematic overlays serve several purposes, including elaborating different geometry had been derived, as well linking other data to it. The core study presented here an intersection high-dimensional concepts, dimensionality reduction, analysis, and visualization, intended point departure towards integrated, attribute-centered understanding people's movement patterns. Among advances put forth new time-weighted kernel density model approach journey vertices captured via GPS WLAN.
