摘要: Abstract Chromite ores in Forumad area from Sabzevar ophiolite belt, northeastern Iran are surrounded by magmatic dunite that is rich nickel as compared with other ultramafics. Chromium intensively bonded within chromite and not an essential element for plant's life cycle, whereas Ni more bioavailable constituent of plant enzymes. Determined bio-concentration factor (BCF) Salsola orientalis S.G. Gmel., the predominant species on soils developed zones 20 locations (average 0.81) indicated can be successfully used a pathfinder tracing ore bodies hosting dunites studied area. In serpentinized ultramafics, maximum total concentrations 719, 1150, 181, 617, 4481, 2314, 20,790 μg g− l were determined Ni, Cr, Co, Mn, Fe, Mg, Ca, respectively using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS). Dry climate, low rainfall high temperature lead to grow specific flora including annual perennial herbaceous plants. The chemical data showed excellent correlation coefficient between Cr (0.91) zones. Investigation 107 30 families, growing S. could consider promising prospecting belt reconnaissance survey.
