摘要: An improved logistics planning method and system for recommending optimal order quantities timing, choice of vendor locations storage locations, transportation modes, individual items product families. The is designed use in cooperation with the computer having memory incorporates item, customer, supplier, routing information databases. In operation, customer supplier databases are accessed to provide warehouse demand forecasts. similarly cost forecasts necessary determine optimized modes selected items, customers suppliers. costs processed accordance a dynamic programming model stock non-stock order/shipment solutions customers, including selection, timing quantity.
