摘要: Earth Systems Understanding 5 (Table 1, Chapter One), one of the seven basic science understandings that form foundation Global Science Literacy, establishes concept ‘deep time’ as being important in students’ realization many modem concepts science-especially organic evolution. Little been done, however, design curriculum materials to develop nor conduction research studies determine how could be more adequately presented students. In this chapter, I report on into understanding across UK society. Some is published, some press and currently train. The chapter ends with a proposal for Deep Time Framework Pivotal Geo-events.
