摘要: The response of a few members freshwater micrometazoans to DDT have been ascertained by conducting laboratory and field bioassay experiments. organisms tested in bioassays, found respond at low concentrations with LC50 ranging between 10 49 ppb.Cyclops sp. andAsplanchna brightwelli higher as high 515 ppb 2218 respectively for the larvae ofCulex fatigans has be 180 ppb. In test 70 was applied repeated after 23 days. is similar both treatments. population ofC. cornuta andM. brachiata reappeared 22 days treatment whereas,D. excisum andN. kamakhiae failed reappear. Analysis bottom soil treated tank revealed presence DDD, DDE DDT. Some secondary effects also observed discussed.
