摘要: The mechanical response of metals with a bimodal grain-size distribution is modeled using the secant Mori-Tanaka (M-T) mean-field approach. actual microstructure involves grain size in ultrafine and coarse regimes; model approximates this terms two phases distinct sizes specific volume fractions. applied to materials: Al-5083 alloys Laverniaet al. Cu Wanget In both materials, predictions agree well experiments. Al alloy, effect extrusion on anisotropy yield strength flow behavior also addressed. Finally, based predictions, an empirical expression Voce form proposed describe overall metals.
