摘要: The dynamic response of circular sandwich panels with aluminium honeycomb and corrugated cores under projectile impact was investigated experimentally numerically. Impulse loaded on the panel controlled by launching velocity deformation process recorded a high-speed camera in experiments. Typical deformation/failure modes face-sheets were obtained analysed. back face-sheet deflections strain histories measured discussed. A parametric study conducted LS-DYNA 3D to analyse effect geometrical configuration energy absorption mechanism permanent deflection panels. results indicated that resistance structure sensitive configuration.
