摘要: Diabetes is often defined a “vascular disease” because of the early and extensive involvement vascular-tree observed in patients with diabetes even those at risk developing diabetes. Both micro- macrocirculation are affected. Changes macrocirculation, both anatomical functional, contribute to development diabetic neuropathy. On other hand, neuropathy also affects vasodilatory capacity microcirculation. Thus, interaction between changes vasculature peripheral nerves bidirectional results blood flow neuronal function. The possible links macrovascular alterations nerve damage will be focus this chapter.
