摘要: The means of half-sib progenies have been indicated as selection criteria for intra-population improvement while the average full-sib in diallel analyses proposed predictors, part, untested synthetic varieties. When these measures based on progeny are expressed deviations from a defined greater population crosses, they often termed general combining ability (GCA). In this study GCA estimates or facsimile were theoretically investigated one locus, digene, autotetraploid model to verify genetic basis and its value prediction presence naturally occurring phenomena autopolyploids called gametic disequilibrium with three types non-additive inheritance. Two breeding objectives envisioned, best parents recurrent continued development elite populations advanced generation variety performance. first potential bias due compared estimation same absence disequilibrium. results that testcrossing plants without could be used parents. cross may increase depress response dependent array genotypes which happen evaluated, type genic action at frequency desirable allele testor population. performance potentially biased by An assumption pollination gametes was made all plants, but obviously unrealistic partial diallels, no selfing, other situations. estimate shown an unreliable predictor it assumed different pollinated arrays gametes, more realistic situation, interpretation values possible even purely additive gene locus.
