摘要: Persons infected with HIV have an elevated risk of lung cancer, but whether the increase simply reflects a higher smoking prevalence continues to be debated. This review summarizes existing data on association infection and particular attention study design adjustment for cigarette smoking. Potential mechanisms by which may lead cancer are discussed. Finally, irrespective causality mechanisms, represents important growing problem confronting HIV-infected patients their providers. Substantial efforts needed promote cessation control among populations.
