摘要: The target is to integrate future 3rd generation mobile systems (UMTS) with the broadband integrated services digital networks (B-ISDN) by interworking UMTS service specific protocols over radio interface. main requirements are efficient use of resources, support a wide range and high quality (QoS). Enhancements might be made B-ISDN or conversely mobility servers added asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) switching elements UMTS. Transport interface results in very error rates delays compared transport fixed network. Interworking options considered at ATM, ATM adaptation layer, bearer level for services.
