摘要: Torque density of a novel dual-rotor, radial-flux multiphase permanent magnet (PM) machine is enhanced by injecting stator current harmonics without increasing yoke thickness. In order to enhance regular PM torque capability harmonic currents, the no-load air-gap flux should be designed trapezoidal, which increases per pole, and results in thicker yoke. However, this drawback can avoided machine. such dual-rotor machine, main go directly from inner rotor poles, outer teeth, then or reverse, through Therefore, thickness not affected at all actually reduced minimum for mechanical reasons. This paper applies injection technique Sizing equations machines are deduced used initial design theoretical comparison. The performance proposed with evaluated using finite element simulation, compared traditional three-phase Simulation validate feasibility enhancement. same proven that it also suitable axial-flux topology.
