Measurement in pediatric exercise science

摘要: This text provides both standardized lab protocols for assessing anthropometric and physiological attributes in children complete information on field assessments of paediatric fitness. A wide range measurement techniques are described critically evaluated. Parts I II focus physical assessment - anthropomentry, body composition, maturation, anaerobic performance, aerobic muscular strength endurance. Each chapter these two parts introduces the area, discusses significnace collecting data development characteristics variable, also reviews tests used most often. Part III measuring activity analyzes batteries that to test fitness levels children. Batteries from USA, Canada, New Zealand, Europe considered evaluated their validity reliability. The book includes normative standards allow researchers compare subjects with others.
