摘要: Abstract Pseudomonas putida P2 (ATCC 25571) grown on l-lysine or dl-pipecolic acid is induced for a high velocity lysine transport system. Double reciprocal plots of in cells are linear. Km and Vmax values 7.3 x 10-6 m 130 nmoles per min mg lysine-grown 9.3 42 pipecolate. Lysine optimal at 30° pH 6.5 to 7.5, inhibited by azide cyanide. Induction the system accompanied an increase levels enzymes catabolism. d-Lysine d- l-isomers arginine ornithine inhibit transport, l-ornithine l-arginine transported cells. Structural features important inhibition include α-amino α-carboxyl groups positive charge removed from α-carbon three four methylene groups. Similar Michaelis constants, temperature profiles, responses wide range amino acids amines found either
