摘要: Abstract The land passenger transport sector lies on the cusp of a major transformation, guided by last mile connectivity, digital technology, and collaborative consumption. recent emergence transportation network companies, in tier-I cities developing countries, which provide economically environmentally convenient sharing services over decade motivates this research. objective research is to find extent different considerations persuade people choose non-sharing rides so that policy recommendations for modal shift from service can be suggested. A revealed preference survey was conducted city Mumbai capturing information an individual’s travel patterns, socio-economic characteristics, attitudes. novel methodological framework conceptualized test impact these socio-economic, attitudinal, other underlying factors cab rides. then tested using structural equation modelling (SEM). results showcased latent variables ‘socio-economic status’ ‘spending propensity’ negatively impacted sharing.
