摘要: Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) describes a pathological development the retina in prematurely born children. In order to prevent severe permanent damage eye and enable timely treatment, fundus such children has be examined according established procedures. For these examinations, our miniaturized camera is intended allow acquisition wide-angle digital pictures for on-line or off-line diagnosis documentation. We designed two prototypes camera, one with graded refractive index (GRIN)-based optics, other conventional optics. Two different modes illumination were compared: transscleral transpupillary. both systems, size weight minimized. The tested on young rabbits. experiments led conclusion that combination optics transpupillary yields best results terms overall image quality.
