摘要: An ever-increasing number of studies are pointing to the importance network properties brain for understanding behavior such as conscious perception. However, with regards influence prestimulus states on perception, this perspective has rarely been taken. Our recent framework predicts that regions crucial a percept coupled prior stimulus arrival, forming pre-established pathways information flow and influencing perceptual awareness. Using magnetoencephalography (MEG) graph theoretical measures, we investigated auditory perception in near-threshold (NT) task found strong support framework. Relevant showed an increased interhemispheric connectivity. The left cortex was characterized by hub-like enhanced integration into functional Right were decoupled from non-auditory regions, presumably integrated processing unit cortex. In addition, show first time modality local excitability, measured decreased alpha power cortex, increases percepts. Importantly, able connectivity seem be largely independent excitability context NT paradigm.
