摘要: The coalescence of massive black holes is one the primary sources gravitational waves (GWs) for LISA. Measurements GWs can localize source on sky to an ellipse with a major axis few tens arcminutes degrees, depending redshift, and minor which 2―4 times smaller. distance (and thus approximate redshift) be determined better than per cent closest we consider, although weak lensing degrades this performance. It will great interest search three-dimensional 'pixel' electromagnetic counterpart GW event. presence allows unique studies combine information, especially if found prior final merger holes. To understand feasibility early detection, calculate evolution pixel time. We find that greatest improvement in size occurs day before merger, when spin precession effects are maximal. localized within 10 square degrees as month at z = 1; higher redshifts, accuracy only possible last days.
