Analysis of the Commercial Use of Spanish Inventions Protected by Patents between 1996 and 2006

摘要: Patents are indicators of the organization’s output and reflect its level technological development. Today they have become a key commercial asset, which is why there increasing interest in their study from perspective monetary value economic use. However, exact number actually used patents actual implementation not known. In this study, commercialization Spanish granted by Patent Trademark Office (SPTO) during period 1996-2006, rate return has been identified analysed for agents developing them. The results obtained show still wide margin to make more efficient use intellectual property tool.
