摘要: Mutations conferring resistance to arginine hydroxamate in Bacillus subtilis 168 have been located on the genetic map by PBSl-mediated transduction. The majority of these mutations, belonging classes 1, 2 and 4 Harwood Baumberg (1977) affecting only expression catabolic enzymes, at a locus designated ahrA cotransducible with cysA, purA sacA. order markers this region appears be sacA-ahrA-purA-cysA. Certain anomalies were observed properties Pur+ transductants from crosses an Ahr donor recipient. A single ahr mutation (class 3), also catabolism, maps between ctrA sacA ahrB. Two others 6), simultaneously enzymes both biosynthesis lys aroD ahrC. Preliminary attempts define nature functional products specified loci suggest that protein is encoded ahrA.
