摘要: STUDY OF THE MODAL ENERGETICS FOR SACZ EPISODES. PART II: IMPACT MODEL RESOLUTION AND CONVECTION PARAMETERIZATION The performance of the CPTEC Global Model in simulating modal energetics for a composite seven South Atlantic Convergence Zone (SACZ) episodes was evaluated, emphasizing influence model resolution and three different deep convection parameterizations: Kuo, Relaxed Arakawa-Schubert (RAS) Grell on vertical energy partition between external internal modes interactions within various horizontal oscillation modes: Rossby, Kelvin, Mixed Rossby-Gravity West East Gravity. results showed that predictions using RAS schemes were similar with each other, had good agreement patterns obtained observational part (Part I this paper). use did not present significant impact interaction modes. A greater when increasing analyses from 28 to 42 levels. number show relevant role exchanges, terms representing observed characteristics.
