摘要: Interest in Mg-based composites has grown with their potential use as engineering materials due to having a high strength-to-weight ratio, wear resistance, and creep behavior. While magnesium chips are typically considered waste on production shop floors, there can be promising way fabricate carefully distributed reinforcements. This research is concerned the reuse of AZ91 magnesium-alloy composites. The fabrication process requires collect clean then mix them SiC particles Finally, this composition melted stirred by stir casting method AZ91/SiC results clearly show that not only reused sustainable way, but also they improve reinforcement distribution substantially, leading enhanced mechanical properties so composite yield strength increases 62.7% when adding 5% particles, volume percentage. Moreover, reinforcements, demonstrate hardness increase about 46%.
