摘要: Chapter 3 presents theoretical and numerical formulations of nonlinear elastic materials. Since material normally experience a large deformation, Sect. 3.2 discusses stress strain measures under deformation. Section 3.3 shows two different in representing deformation problems: total Lagrangian updated Lagrangian. In particular, it is shown that these are mathematically identical but computer implementation interpreting behaviors. Critical load analysis introduced 3.4, followed by hyperelastic materials 3.5. Different ways incompressibility discussed. The continuum form the variational equation discretized 3.6, MATLAB code for model 3.7. 3.8 summarizes usage commercial finite element programs to solve problems, particularly materials, important identify parameters. 9 curve-fitting methods parameters using test data.
