摘要: The present study examined the effect of prenatal stress in rats from days 13-20 gestation on anxiogenic behaviour elevated plus maze (EPM) together with changes gene expression corticotrophin-releasing hormone (CRH), its receptors, CRHR1 and CRHR2, as well CRH binding protein (CRH-BP) paraventricular nucleus (PVN) amygdala their male female offspring. Both prenatally-stressed (PS) males females showed heightened anxiety EPM. Prenatal did not alter or receptors PVN, although it decreased CRH-BP mRNA, which could augment activity free CRH. In PVN PS females, there was an increase CRH, coupled a decrease that CRHR2 CRH-BP. These are compatible greater activation hypothalamic pituitary adrenal axis to females. Anxiogenic associated reduction mRNA Two hours after acute exposure manifested, increases were seen only signalling, whereas reduced both sexes. data show adulthood have differential sex-dependent rats.
