摘要: Lymphatic leakage is a rare complication of thyroid surgery, the risk which increases in presence malignancy and correlates with extent surgery. Although primarily associated left-sided thoracic duct injuries, lymphatic leaks may occur following right-sided neck dissections for metastatic cancer. However, development lymphocele lobectomy benign disease exceptionally rare. The authors present case patient who developed cervical 10 days after re-operative right multinodular goitre. was successfully managed conservatively combination dietary modification high-dose octreotide. reason her presentation most likely result an occult injury to congenitally-aberrant duct, brought into operative field by postsurgical adhesions. serves highlight importance subtle variations anatomy context thyroidectomy.
