Non-Dynamical Stochastic Resonance: Theory and Experiments with White and Arbitrarily Coloured Noise

摘要: We describe the simplest system which shows stochastic resonance. Theoretical results for white and (almost) arbitrarily coloured noise are presented. The new has new, unique properties originate from its non-dynamical character; example, strength phase shift of periodic response is independent frequency. Experiments have been carried out with following processes: (physical) noise, Lorentzian 1/f noise. With a small extension system, linear-response regime can be significantly increased. As similar to some simple models neurons, might not only physical but also biological importance.
