摘要: Mineral scale deposits such as calcium carbonate and phosphate, oxalate, barium strontium sulfate, magnesium silicate others colloidal inorganic species silica present important challenges for process water applications. When is left uncontrolled it forms hard tenacious that are difficult hazardous to remove. Conventional phosphonate mineral inhibitors do not inhibit formation deposition. Chemical cleaning free from hazards requires operational shut-downs. Another challenge corrosion of critical metal surfaces industrial equipment. Last but least, biofouling due the development microorganisms. This paper focused on presentation general scope these problems their solutions. More specifically, concentrates (a) inhibition formation, (b) dissolution, (c) metallic corrosion, in applications by use designed chemical approaches. The additives used were polyaminoamide dendrimers, polyethyloxazoline polyethyleneimine polymers. For dissolution dissolvers tested carboxymethyl inulin (CMI), Genesol 40 (a proprietary blend additives), polyacrylic acid. In principle, a function time inhibitor dosage. Silica dependent rather unpredictable fashion structure dissolver, Mild steel has been achieved synergistic zinc ions polyphosphonate anions create protective films.
