摘要: This chapter summarizes the evidence of clinical efficacy acupuncture. Treatment pertains to differential effect observed from a treatment as compared placebo or another using rigorous methodological design. Efficacy is often assessed double blind controlled trial design [1]. While some chapters in this book focus primarily on animal studies, question can only be addressed human studies. Therefore, will summarizing acupuncture trials. It divided into two major sections. The first presents an overview evidence-based medicine and explains why systematic review most reliable valid method for assessing efficacy. second section current reviews specific conditions and, when applicable, results trials published subsequently each review.
