摘要: What constitutes excellence in publication productivity logistics journals? Several previous studies have examined this question at the institutional level. However, prior literature has not detail research patterns of entire distribution individual authors across a relatively large number journals within lengthy time frame. Prior work also established benchmarks or thresholds productivity, terms both quantity and quality, which are necessary to be ranked among leading contributors discipline. To address void literature, we examine 3,312 articles published seven from 1990 2009, inclusive, 3,657 different contributed least one authorship coauthorship. Using rankings associated percentiles according six quality metrics, identify aggregate for various positions field. We find that leaders meet typically posited expectations performance, necessarily reflective traditional wisdom.
