摘要: Methamphetamine (MA) is a widely abused psychoactive drug that primarily damages the nervous system. However, involvement of MA in survival microglia remains poorly understood. CCAAT-enhancer binding protein (C/EBP-β) transcription factor and an important regulator cell apoptosis. Lipocalin2 (lcn2) known apoptosis inducer involved many death processes. We hypothesized C/EBP-β MA-induced lcn2-mediated microglial To test this hypothesis, we measured expression after treatment evaluated effects silencing or lcn2 on BV-2 cells mouse striatum intrastriatal injection. exposure increased stimulated modulation Moreover, C/EBP-β-dependent upregulation reversed The vivo relevance these findings was confirmed models, which demonstrated microinjection anti-C/EBP-β into ameliorated decrease microglia. These provide new insight regarding specific contributions C/EBP-β-lcn2 to context abuse.
