摘要: Background. The best method for the treatment of primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is surgical resection. However, operability/resectibility low because advanced stage lesion or associated liver disease when diagnosed. purpose this study was to evaluate efficacy combination with transcatheter hepatic arterial chemoembolization (THAC) and whole-liver irradiation moving strip technique inoperable/unresectable HCC. Methods. From January 1998 1990, 60 patients histologically proven HCC were randomly allocated by envelope method, prospectively, into three groups. Group 1 consisted 20 treated technique; group 2 (THAC); 3 a these two methods. Results. All followed over period 5 years. 3-month survival rates groups 1, 2, 80%, 85%, 95% respectively. 6-month survivals in 20%, 60%, 70% 12-month 0, 25%, 40%, 2-year 15%, 3-year 5%, 5-year 10%, Conclusion. Combination THAC feasible safe could be promising modality
