摘要: A long term study of 2,953 persons with 29,859 person-years follow-up after head injury provided an opportunity to investigate the long-debated association between trauma and subsequent intracranial tumor. In this series observed number cases brain tumor did not differ from we expected. Because tumors are relatively rare, results large cannot absolutely refute possibility that predisposes tumor, but individual risk is very small, weight evidence does support etiological association. The occurrence in was associated severity or location injury. Head seem be a significant factor meningioma; has higher incidence females, whereas males have 2- 3-fold greater trauma. If any exist, it extremely small occurs only presence other factors, which themselves must rare.
