摘要: Envelope-based immunogens capable of generating high titers neutralizing antibodies have until now been difficult to generate, or failed act as useful vaccines prevent HIV-1 infection and disease progression. On the other hand, humoral immune responses self allogeneic cellular antigens involved in docking entry are present both infected patients subjects with natural resistance infection, where they share similarities but also display definite differences. By dissecting these subtle differences, crucial molecular markers, possibly correlated modulation clinical progression stably patients, identified. Here, state-of-the art knowledge on anti-self following exposure HIV will be reviewed. The possible implications mechanisms design unconventional therapies aimed counteract peculiar capability circumvent system discussed.
