摘要: ABSTRACT The objective was to compare selection indexes based on the production costs and economic values from United States China. Indexes including terminal sire (TSI), maternal line (MLI), sow productivity (SPI) were calculated market prices for Estimated breeding days 113.5 kg, backfat depth, loin muscle area, number born alive, weaned, litter weight adjusted 21 d, weaning estrus, birth provided by a Chinese pig company evaluate alternative TSI MLI indexes. Duroc data included 559 dams, 39 sires, 5,079 boars, 4,809 gilts. Landrace 199 83 2,749 2,750 Yorkshire 1,368 139 18,481 17,962 means, SD, correlations estimated calculated. more highly correlated (r = 0.97 0.99) with US than 0.92 0.97). Overall, had greater SD (TSI, 58 87% greater; SPI, 22 26% MLI, 43 76% greater). all >0.98) feed conversion. lesser SPI placed emphasis postweaning traits but less did current MLI.
