摘要: Three subpopulations of circulating monocytes have been described: CD14(2+)CD16(-) (classical [CM]), CD14(2+)CD16(+) (intermediate [IM]), and CD14(+)CD16(2+) (nonclassical [NCM]). We previously showed that obesity is associated with an increased proportion IM NCM. Our objective to decipher the migratory inflammatory functions each monocyte subset in obesity-related low-grade inflammation. Twenty-six healthy, normal-weight nondiabetic volunteers (C) 40 obese (Ob) individuals were included this study. explored gene expression profile 18 genes C Ob subjects measured protein upregulated genes. then tested their functional response TLR signaling both groups. CX3CR1 all CCR2 CCR5 CM group. found negative correlation between expressions high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, whereas was positively linked metabolic traits. Production proteins upon bacterial LPS viral ssRNA stimulation higher NCM group compared work highlights enhanced phenotype a TLR4 TLR8 stimulations obesity. Moreover, it suggests migration capacity subpopulations.
